90’s socks are back in fashion

Back in the 90’s, life in 90’s socks was simpler and one could assume children had more interests and hobbies. Nowadays, you can pretty much access anything, but the current youth would rather be on their smartphones inside than explore the outdoors. 90’s toys and games seem outdated, however, it seems that some 90’s trends are coming back, especially in fashion. Clothes like biker shorts, overalls with straps down and full denim were all popular to wear with 90’s socks, and now that’s back! You can now not only see children skating around wearing van socks and skate tees but adults from the 90’s too!

Play with Barbies or Game Boys

Barbie is the most popular fashion doll ever produced and she’s definitely lived a life in plastic that’s truly fantastic. Although produced in the 50’s, she regained her stardom in the 90’s. Although this may seem sexist, all girls wanted to have a Barbie doll and what else did they want? 90’s socks! If you didn’t reach for the popular 30cm tall blond doll, then maybe you preferred the other popular 90’s toy. The Game Boy was first released by Nintendo in Japan on April 21, 1989. The must-have game at the time was Super Mario Land, and those who couldn’t get their hands on it, settled for 90’s socks instead.
