Isn’t sailing sometimes a demanding sport? In addition to sailing socks there is a confusing, strange sailor’s language – full of complicated technical terms! Learning techniques, rules, traditions, equipment and conventions is easier if you are wearing hobby socks and sailing is your passion. If you suffer through the hardships, you will discover a wonderful sport. Freedom, adventure and the sea breeze in your face will hypnotize you. Those who learn to sail immerse themselves in a variety of ropes and often sailing socks. Then you learn about the steer, sails, suspension lines. Phew, not that easy at all! To calm your nerves you can of course put on wine socks and take a sip at wine o’clock. Once you have mastered the sailing jargon, you have passed initiation and can set your sails for the sea!
Coastal regions are shaped everywhere by seafaring. In Europe, it’s no wonder that the canal-rich region of Friesland in the Netherlands is known for sailing socks. Regardless of whether it is inland waters or the open sea, the region has everything a sailing heart desires. There, too, clear communication methods count in order to maneuver in one of the most beautiful sailing areas in the world. Lighthouse socks are the signpost in the darkest storm and guide the way. Even the most experience sailor can sometimes be surprised on his yacht. But it doesn’t matter whether you are familiar with lowering, cruising or anchoring. If you really enjoy sailing, you can of course live it out as a passenger. However, if it gets too wet on board, you can put on sailing socks and stay below deck. It doesn’t matter whether on the boat, in the living room, in the restaurant or on a walk in the woods. Come and be part of our yacht club!
